Mayank: Some time back, my family wished to publish a booklet of collected prayers, both Vedic and non-Hindu. In the short time we had on hand, we could not find many prayers / chants / hymns / shlokas on the net, that we could simply copy-paste. The few we could find were either stubs, scattered, or images (not open for editing, say, font-size). Hence this blog. The objective of this blog is to share the prayers that have the following three characteristics: 1. They are very well-known. 2. They are universal in nature. 3. They are, to the best of my knowledge, copyright-free. I encourage you to freely copy paste these prayers in anything you do. I also welcome suggestions to upload further prayers. The long-term objective is to give translation of each of the prayers, at least the basic translation. God bless us all. May happiness, peace and purity prevail.
