                                        द्वितीयोध्याय 

तं तथा कृपयविष्टमश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणं ......

The Infinite Almighty

ॐ पूर्णमद: पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते |

                      पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ||

God is perfect (infinite). This Universe is also perfect (infinite). If perfection(infinity) is taken from anything perfect (infinite) what remains is still perfect (infinite). 

ॐ सर्वेत्र: सुखिन सन्तु सर्वे सन्तु निरामया  |

                 सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु  मा कश्चिद् दुखमाप्नुयात्  ||

         ||ॐ शान्ति शान्ति शान्ति ||

May all possess happiness. May all be healthy (free from all diseases). May all see beauty. May there be good fortune and no misery anywhere. May there be peace everywhere.

Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta, Adhyay 15

Traditionally, the 15th Adhyaya - one of the shortest Adhyayas in The Geeta - is chanted on passing away of someone.

श्रीमद् भगवद् गीता 

अध्याय १५ 

उर्ध्वमूलमध:शाखमश्वथं प्राहुरव्ययम्  |

छंदासी यस्य पर्णानि यस्तं वेदसवेदवित    ||१ ||

Lord Krishna said: The universe (or human body) may be compared to an eternal tree that has its origin (or root) in the Supreme Being and its branches below in the cosmos. The Vedic hymns are the leaves of this tree. One who understands this tree is a knower of the Vedas. (15.01)

Krishna Vandana

आकाशात् पतितं तोयं यथा गच्छति सागरं |

                  सर्वदेव नमस्कार केशवं प्रति गच्छति  ||

Just as water falling (in form of rain water) ultimately reaches the oceans, 

(so do) all the namaskars (respects) paid to all the deva (gods) ultimately reach Keshav (Lord Shri Krishna).

Charpat Panjarika Stotram (incomplete)

चर्पटपञ्जरिका स्तोत्र 

दिनमपि रजनि सायं प्रात: शिशिर्वसन्तौ पुनरायात: |

काल: क्रीडति गच्छत्यायु: तदपि न मुञ्चत्याशावायु: ||

भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं मूढमते |

प्राप्ते सन्निहिते मरणे नहि नहि रक्षति डुकृङ् करणे || 

Subhashita (literally, a good couplet)

पुस्तकेषु हि या विद्या परहस्तेषु यद् धनम् |

उत्त्पनेषु च कार्येषु न सा विद्या न तद् धनम् ||

Translation: 
Knowledge that is confined within books and wealth that is in the hands of others; 
When (the appropriate) situation arises, that knowledge is not knowledge and that wealth is not wealth, i.e. neither are of any use.
